Aromatherapy
What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a natural treatment using essential oils to maintain and improve health and wellbeing of the individual.
During an Aromatherapy massage essential oils are absorbed into the blood stream via the skin and inhaled through the nose, where they cross over into the blood stream via the lungs.
One of the advantages to topical application of diluted essential oils is that they can go directly to the area where you need them most.
An aromatherapy massage is a great way to reap the benefits of topical application of essential oils along with the soothing therapeutic benefits of massage.

After the Aromatherapy treatment
To gain the most benefit from your Aromatherapy massage we advise bathing or showering prior to your appointment as the oils should be kept on the skin for 8 hours. Avoid using anything else on the skin for 24 hours.
